36 hours in Phuket !!?

Phuket is a famous Thai island, which is geographical in the form of a tear, with charming beaches and wonderful night life. Many feel that the island was not famous enough only after the tsunami, which hit the region in 2004, when the island recovered in a short time. During the past few years the island re-build itself as a first-class tourist target in southern Thailand, filled with a lot of luxury hotels and fine dining restaurants and art galleries.

I’d talk about only 36 hours visit to the island in the next few lines .. and hope you can get more when you visit it by yourself !!?

Friday:

4.00 p.m. Perhaps the best beginning of the visit is to eat the famous island dish “Roti” stuffed with eggs, fruit, and covered with intensive milk from the restaurant Shiv Roti near to the Pineapple Park, the cost for this dish is about 95 cents, then you can walk on the sandy beach.

5:30 p.m. Search for spirituality happiness at the top of the Mount Nagaquierd where there is a large white statue of Buddha covered with marble. 7:00 p.m. leave the crowded beach restaurants and go toward the interior of the city of Phuket and the night food market on the road Aung sim-Fi Rod near to Robinson store. As the morning market there turns to a large food restaurant full of vitality during the night filled with street carts of food and a lot of tables and plastic chairs that straddle the corners of the street, these carts prepare Thai and Chinese dishes such as the papaya salad ,coconut curry , grilled fish balls and for a desert you can have boiled rice and mangoes. If you encounter a problem in the selection of food, look for the dining cart, which stands by the largest number of people and join them. for a full meal with a two cups of beer dont pay more than 200 Baht (about 6$).

9:00 p.m. Mo-Tai Sport is a martial arts and its the most popular sport in Thailand where the Thai gladiators use fists, legs and the knees. The perfect place to watch such sport is Suwit Stadium (15 Moo 1, Chaofa Road; 66 – 76 – 374 – 313;
where the games starts with dances and traditional music that precedes the game I have to mention that this sport is more than just violent entertainment so take care. Games begin on Friday with some simple games, therefore if you do not want to see 10 years old children fighting you can delay an hour to arrive at 9:30 to enter the ring,  start ticket price of 900 PAT includes travel to and from the stadium.

Saturday

9:00 a.m. Start the sunny morning with a ride on the back of one of the elephants in Bangui Bay Safari

Granada .. mysterious myths and flamenco !!

There’s nothing better to start this article

with the Spanish say «nothing  harder in

life than to be blind in Granada !!?».

The city is situated between the mountain

and  the sea, and for sure is one of the

most beautiful places in Spain.

It is the last Muslim kingdom in Spain, with a lot of

myths. It is said that when the last Muslim

king was defeated  in 1492, his mother said to

him, «cry like a women, for what you

couldn’t defend it like a man !!? ».

The “Red” Palace ( Alhambra Palace as it called in Europe or AlHammra palace in Arabic) and «Arif heaven»

gardens are the most beautiful places in

Granada, which is located in southern

Spain, and up to nearly two million tourists

visit it each year, and included into the

World Heritage sites thanks to the beauty

and greatness and for sure the rich

history.

The “Red” Palace – which combines as a

palace and a fortress in the same time – is

the highest expression of the Muslims art

in Spain, and the most important things to

remember about Islamic culture in Europe,

beside the famous Mosque of Cordoba.

You have two options if you want to visit

the palace, either to visit it during the

daylight or go at night. In both cases, you

Dancing in Greece !!?

Plays, presentations and competitions in singing and dancing also organized in the large squares in the city, as the so-called «Committee men» take thier part to make sure that everything is under control, and the great march of the cranival always comes at the weekend, when residents and vesitors get free of their political and social and looks difrences and join together like the entire city is invited to the ceremony, with fireworks in the sky, dancing and singing never stops until the early morning hours.

Important sites in Patras:

The water desalination station:
One of the most important sites in the city is the water desalination station, a building with a unique industrial model of architecture. Brussels .. The royal city !!?

 

Not like Paris or London or even Berlin; she is Brussels, bringing together so many contradictions that it seems to the visitors it is more than one country and more than one city and more than one culture, which is indeed so, as it seems to be more than one comunity as well.

Brussels, capital of the European Union, is a city floating on an old controversies, and the sensitivities of cultural defrences. It may be the only European capital that use tow diffrent official languages for bilingual signs on the streets, train stations and airports, and even the emblems attached to the dark police uniforms. The reason for this is due to duplication of language in Belgium in general, and Brussels in particular, Flemish and French are the official languages of the Kingdom of Belgium.

Although this factor may increase the cultural richness of the state and the people alike, it is one of the biggest problems faced by Belgium on several levels. Of which is cultural and ethnic and including those related to tourism; as the tourist must rely on his own skills and personal knowledge to walk through Brussels or in other cities, of which speaks French or Flemish, including what they are talking exclusively.

 

 

In Brussels, the visitor can speak French, English, Flemish, but in some nearby cities, such as MACHELEN, for example, it can only speak Flemish, which is not that famous language for all vistors, although the city is located less than 15 km from the capital, so that could be considered a suburb of the capital.

The city is culturally moveing too fast, which began in the early twentieth century, by building the inner city, as each one of these neighborhoods characterized cultural and engineering of its own, such as the Royal Quarter, the city center, Sablon, Marol , the Seine and Mary Jackman, which includes, in addition to the largest park in Brussels, the largest mosque in Brussels as well, which is located in the southeast of the capital, in the north side of the park, overlooking the Avenue of Hartnberg, it is a city of many nationalities, and its streets, speak languages beyond cultural conflict around the Belgian local cultural identity of the country French-speaking and Flemish.

If you want to visit more sights you must stopovers in the cathedral high-rise towers (Dom) in the downtown, which reaches a height of 95 m above the ground, which is one of the most beautiful monuments in the city of Frankfurt.

Certainly, the Old Opera House (Alte Oper) would be the best place that i recommend, especially when you know that its name means the «most beautiful ruins of Germany», its foundations have been destroyed, during World War II, but the citizens of Frankfurt managed their efforts and contributions to bring it back to normal.

You can go to the beauty of nature and specifically to the banks of the River Main, where its always filled with people, especially when the weather is good. Lovely River Main entice picnickers and make them spend long hours in roaming on foot, as it is a distinctive place attracts skiers, cyclists and amateur sports surfboards.

But on Saturdays, when the merchants put their used goods in their market stalls on the banks of the river, the demand for space increased significantly, so long ago, and the words «Back to the river» is the logo of the city of Main.
