In every famous city in the world Authorities warn tourists of pickpockets who are working in those areas heavily visited by tourists, they are well known for their skills and usually targets the cameras, passports and credit cards.
 
For those thieves its a skill and art at the same time, not only a job and they are in all places, especially at tourist sites because their goal is to steal tourists who often bring with them money and other things more expensive.

In a survey done by the website «Trip Advisor», they published a list of 10 cities where had the most tourist robbed in the world in 2008, and the result of this survey as  follows:

 

 

 

1 – Barcelona, Spain
